Well, BetterJoining can help! You can completely design your own join message using the explained commands below and a custom Ingame GUI!

>> You can change the text and colour of the prefix
>> You can change the colour of the player who just joined
>> You can change the text and colour of the actual join message

For extra customization, you can manually change the colour in the config using Minecraft Colour Codes!

Commands for this feature:
/bjprefix [Text] Changes the prefix of your join message
/bjmessage [Text] Changes the actual join message
/bjhome Opens the BetterJoining Home Menu

A whitelist? Why using a whitelist when you can manage your players with style by using BetterJoining?
When a new Player joins, he has no verification by default!
Admins can manage what players with NO verification can/can't do by using an Ingame GUI!
