Smoky Firewood

Description

Smoky Firewood deepens smelting and cooking with real smoke and ventilation. Every furnace type now produces smoke while burning — you need a proper flue system using chimney blocks and pipe caps to get smoke out of enclosed rooms, or the air becomes hazardous.

A new fuel type: firewood. Split stripped logs on a stump with a splitting axe in a short timing minigame to get firewood and wood chips. Stack firewood on the floor or store it in drying racks.

Ventilation & smoke

• All furnaces, campfires, and the firewood stove emit smoke while active
• Build brick chimneys or metal smoke pipes and route smoke to a chimney cap
• Blocked or overloaded flues cause smoke inhalation and trapped smoke

Firewood & crafting

• Splitting axe — split logs on the stump (timing minigame)
• Firewood — dedicated fuel (all wood types + stripped variants)
• Wood chips — by-product; used in the smoker, compost, and crafting
• Firewood pile — place up to 32 pieces in one block
• Firewood drying rack — store and display split logs

• Firewood stove — outdoor stove fueled with firewood

• Raw / fired furnace brick, silica dust, wood chips block
• Potion of Smoke & Potion of Carbon Monoxide (status effects)
