🟢 Plains Villagers

• Spring: Fresh, vibrant light layers.
• Summer: Breezy, cool tunics.
• Autumn: Cozy earth-toned robes.
• Winter: Heavily insulated wool coats.
• Rainy: Mud-resistant rain gear.

   

🏜️ Desert Villagers

• Spring: Traditional desert wraps.
• Summer: Ultra-thin linen robes to deflect sun rays.
• Autumn: Dust-protective desert cloaks.
• Winter: Warm desert shawls for freezing desert nights.

   

❄️ Snowy Villagers

• Spring & Summer: Slightly lighter, fur-lined tunics.
• Autumn & Winter: Thick double-layered parkas, thermal hoods, and heavy boots.

              🌾 Savanna & Taiga Villagers

• Spring & Summer: Leather-accented light shirts.
• Autumn & Winter: Heavy flannel-patterned robes and thick hides.

 

   

⚙️ How It Works (Read Carefully) To ensure this resource pack works for everyone, its functionality changes based on your setup:

1. With the Solstice Mod (Dynamic Seasons): When paired with the Solstice mod, the resource pack coordinates with your server/world calendar. Instead of random outfits, villagers will dynamically wear the specific outfits matching the active season or weather in real-time!

2. Vanilla + ETF / OptiFine (Randomized Variety): If you are running Minecraft with Entity Texture Features (ETF) or OptiFine (without the Solstice mod), the pack utilizes properties-based randomization. Villagers will spawn with randomized clothing across all 14 seasonal variants to add visual diversity, but they will not dynamically change with the weather.

3. Pure Vanilla (No Mods at all): Displays the default base outfits from the pack without randomization or seasonal changes.

💾 Installation Guide

Download solstice-villagers.zip.

Move the ZIP file into your .minecraft/resourcepacks/ folder.

Open Minecraft, go to Options -> Resource Packs, and enable Solstice Villagers.

(Recommended) Ensure you have your Solstice mod installed for dynamic seasons, OR ETF (Entity Texture Features) / OptiFine installed for randomized variety.
