Replication Enchantment adds a single-level, very rare weapon enchantment for NeoForge. When a mob is killed with a weapon enchanted with Replication, that mob can drop its spawn egg using a rare chance model similar to wither skeleton skull drops.
Features
- Adds the Replication enchantment for weapons.
- Uses one enchantment level only.
- Uses very rare enchantment weighting.
- Gives eligible mobs a rare chance to drop their own spawn egg.
- Looting increases the drop chance slightly.
- Drops a maximum of one spawn egg per successful kill.
- Excludes boss mobs by default.
- Supports Enchantment Descriptions through the localization key
enchantment.replicationenchantment.replication.desc.
Drop Logic
The drop chance starts at 2.5% and increases by 1% per Looting level on the enchanted weapon. If the roll succeeds, exactly one spawn egg is added to the mob's drops.
Default Exclusions
The common config file config/replicationenchantment-common.toml contains an excludedMobs list. By default, these mobs cannot drop spawn eggs:
minecraft:ender_dragonminecraft:wither
Configuration
Server owners can add or remove entity ids from excludedMobs to control which mobs are blocked from Replication spawn egg drops.
