Mods List
Mods List is a client-side mod for browsing the mods that are actually installed in the current Minecraft instance.
Features
- Displays the mods reported by the active mod loader.
- Search by mod name, ID, or author.
- Filters for all mods, favorites, and mods with a compatible configuration screen.
- Favorites are saved locally.
- Shows available metadata such as version, description, author, and license.
- Uses each mod's declared icon when a readable icon is available; otherwise, it shows a neutral generated placeholder.
- Uses a transparent interface so the Minecraft background remains visible.
- Opens from the small Mods List logo on the title/options screens or with the default
Nkey.
Scope and limitations
Mods List does not download, install, update, enable, or disable mods. A configuration button is only available when a compatible configuration screen is exposed. Some mods do not provide a readable icon, so a placeholder may be shown for them.
This is a client-side mod. It does not need to be installed on a Minecraft server.
Loaders and dependencies
- Fabric and Quilt builds are published separately.
- Fabric builds require Fabric API.
- Supported Minecraft versions are listed on each file in the Versions tab.
- Edition: Minecraft Java
- File type: .jar
- Minecraft version listed: 1.21.11
- How to install: Install the matching mod loader (Forge, Fabric or NeoForge) for your Minecraft version. → Download the .jar. → Put it in the .minecraft/mods folder and launch that loader profile.
