🌲 VectorLock: Tree Cutter — Fell a Whole Tree in One Swing

Stop chopping trees one log at a time. Break a single log and the entire connected tree falls and drops instantly — Oak, Spruce, Birch, Jungle, Acacia, Dark Oak, Mangrove, Cherry, plus Crimson and Warped stems. Flip on Clear Leaves and the canopy comes down with it.

Tree Cutter is a lightweight, Stable-API Minecraft Bedrock add-on: no Experiments required, works in singleplayer and multiplayer, and your world stays Achievements Enabled. It runs perfectly on its own, and plugs straight into the VectorLock unified menu if you use other add-ons in the suite.

🪓 What It Does

Break any log and Tree Cutter instantly fells every connected log of the whole tree, dropping the wood for you. Clearing a tall spruce or a 2×2 dark oak becomes a single swing.

Supported wood: Oak · Spruce · Birch · Jungle · Acacia · Dark Oak · Mangrove · Cherry — plus Crimson and Warped stems.

Optional Clear Leaves: enable it and the tree's canopy is removed at the same time, leaving a clean gap instead of floating leaves.

Survival-friendly by design: every log in the tree still costs tool durability, so it never feels like cheating — it just removes the tedium.

🎮 How to Use

1. Install the pack (see below) and enter your world.
2. Chop any log — the whole tree falls at once and the drops appear.
3. Open the settings screen anytime: Sneak + use a Compass.
4. In the menu you can toggle Tree Capitator on/off, turn Clear Leaves on, and set the Max Logs / Max Leaves caps.

📥 Installation

1. Download VectorLock-TreeCutter.mcaddon.
2. Open the file (double-click, or import it into Minecraft).
3. Create or edit a world → Behavior Packs → activate "Vector Lock Tree Cutter."
4. Start the world and chop a tree — you're done.

Settings are saved to the world, so they persist even if you re-import the pack later.

❓ FAQ / Troubleshooting

Do I need to turn on Experiments?
No. Tree Cutter uses the Stable Script API — leave all Experiments off.

Will it disable my achievements?
No. The pack declares itself as an add-on per Minecraft's official spec, so your world remains Achievements Enabled. (Note: enabling Cheats or Experiments, or switching to Creative, disables achievements — that's vanilla Minecraft behavior, not this pack.)

The leaves don't disappear.
Leaf clearing is optional. Open Sneak + Compass and turn Clear Leaves ON.

Nothing happens when I chop.
Make sure the Behavior Pack is activated on the world, and that you're breaking a log/stem (not the leaves). Open Sneak + Compass and confirm Tree Capitator is toggled ON.

Huge custom tree only partly breaks.
That's the Max Logs / Max Leaves cap protecting performance. Raise the caps in the menu if you want bigger trees fully cleared.

Does it work on Realms / servers?
Yes, as long as the host supports Script API behavior packs and the pack is applied to the world.

Can I use it with other add-ons?
Yes. It runs solo, and if you install VectorLock Core it auto-joins one shared menu with the rest of the suite.
