 ⛈️ FRESH AIR WEATHER MOD (Alpha)

Survival just got a weather report. This add-on brings 8 fully scripted natural disasters to Minecraft Bedrock — plus the tools to survive them. Check the forecast, arm your sirens, board up your windows... and hope it's not a wedge day. 🌪️

✅ No experimental toggles needed — built on the official stable Script API
✅ Works in survival, creative, and multiplayer

🌪️ THE DISASTERS

TORNADOS — Dense, dark funnels that wander the land, suck in players and mobs, and RIP BLOCKS OUT OF THE GROUND (you'll see them spinning inside the funnel!). They come in 3 random sizes, each with different destructive power:

• Rope tornados EF 0-EF1 — thin and quick; snap glass, dirt and doors
• Normal tornados EF2-EF4— tear up logs, planks, fences, sand and more
• HUGE wedge tornados EF5 — monsters that pull out even stone and bricks

SUPERCELLS — Now Tornados form from supercells when you spawn them or when they spawn naturally. they aren't dangerous at this stage but when a tornado forms is not fun and games anymore. This is one of the only bedrock mods that show actual tornados formimg from storms.

WATERSPOUTS — Drive a tornado over water and the whole funnel turns blue with water spray at the base!

CYCLONES — Massive rotating storms over 60 blocks wide, with rain bands, whipping wind gusts, a calm eye in the center, and winds that strip leaves off trees.

FLASH FLOODS — Water genuinely rises and spreads across the land... then fully recedes and cleans itself up. Zero permanent mess.

WILDFIRES — Fire breaks out and spreads through forests and buildings with towering smoke columns, floating embers,Rain extinguishes it at the end.

FIRENADOS — A glowing tornado of fire that ignites the ground and anything it sucks in. Sometimes wildfires spawn one on their own. Run.

HAILSTORMS — Bouncing ice pellets that hurt you in the open and SMASH fragile blocks like glass and crops.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS — Torrential rain sheets, storm fog, and frequent lightning.

BLIZZARDS - Freezing storms that send the whole area into an ice age,fast,covers your house in a blanket if snow

📡 THE FORECAST SYSTEM

Craft a Forecast Block to open the forecast menu in your disaster radar. It shows the day's conditions, temperature, wind — and severe weather alerts that are REAL. If it says "TORNADO watch — 72% chance today", a tornado genuinely is more likely to hit today. Plan your day around the weather!

📡RADAR

Craft a radar block to unlock the doppler radar menu in your disaster menu. Its an actual early version doppler radar that will get better in the updates but still able to show were the storms are.

📢 WORKING STORM SIRENS

Craft Storm Sirens and place them around your base. When a tornado, cyclone or flood hits, every siren wails a real rising-and-falling alarm you can hear from far away, plus on-screen warnings for everyone.

🏠 DEFEND YOUR BASE

• Reinforced Glass — survives explosions, hail, and every tornado tier
• Storm Shutters — flat wooden panels (they rotate to face you when placed) that cover your windows so hail can't smash them; fireproof too
• Sandbags — low walls that flood water cannot pass; ring your house before a flood and stay dry

📱 THE DISASTER MENU

Craft the Disaster Menu item (or grab it in creative) and use it to open a tap-to-spawn control panel with custom icons for every disaster — including a tornado size picker (Rope / Normal / HUGE / Surprise Me) — plus the forecast and a big STOP ALL STORMS button.

• Reinforced Glass (x4): 4 glass + 4 iron nuggets + 1 iron ingot
• Storm Siren: 6 iron ingots + redstone torch + redstone block
• Forecast Block: 3 glass + 4 iron ingots + 1 redstone
• Storm Shutter (x4): 4 planks + 2 sticks
• Sandbag (x3): 2 sand + 1 string
• Disaster Menu: 4 iron ingots + 4 redstone + 1 compass
• Weather Phone: 1 glass + 1 iron ingots + 1 redstone (in a column)

📥 INSTALLATION

1. Download the .mcaddon file
2. Open it — Minecraft imports both packs automatically
3. In your world settings, activate the Behavior Pack (the Resource Pack activates with it)
4. No experiments needed! Load in and look for the green "[Fresh Air] Weather mod is running!" message

Requires Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.70 or newer (works on the latest 26.x versions). Works on phones, tablets, PC, and consoles.

⚠️ NOTES

Everything above works, and more disasters and features are planned! Storms that break blocks can be turned off anytime with !fa blocks off. Found a bug or have an idea? Leave a comment!
