What is CombatTagger?
A Combat Tagging plugin focused on performance and compatibility with Towny.
Key Terms:
- Claim Hopping: The act of jumping between a PVP Enabled and PVP Disabled plot. (Example: Town Claim and Wilderness).
What does CombatTagger do?
- Upon PVP, players will be Combat Tagged for 45 seconds.
- If a tagged player quits, their inventory is dropped and they die upon login.
- If a tagged player enters a Town with PVP is disabled, CombatTag will flag the user for PVP in the town. Essentially preventing Claim Hopping.
- A Bossbar Timer is displayed on the top of the screen with a countdown.
Why use CombatTagger?
- Other plugins such as SirBlobman's CombatLogX are seriously laggy plugins because they instead try to prevent claim hopping by preventing the user from entering a claim with PVP disabled. This type of tracking is negligently lagging the server, allowing one or more users to degrade everyone's gaming experience.
