PlayerDeathLocation
Minecraft Java mod. Downloads from the MC Java Mods app on Android.
⬇ Download on SpigotOn my server newcomers can not use /back. They didn't like this and they even left because of this. The /back command is a perk of some of my higher ranks. This is why I created PDL, this is a very simple plugin that shows the location of the player when they die, this way newcomers can still find their way back without having the /back command!
Features
Whenever a player dies it sends them a message containing their death coordinates. This happens on any type of death.
Commands
/pdl - Shows info about the plugin
/pdl lookup - Looks up a players latest death location and time
Permissions
pdl.use - Players need this permission node to be able to see the message.
Default: OP
pdl.log - Used to log a players death location in the latest death log file.
Default: OP
pdl.lookup - Used for the command /pdl lookup
Default: OP
Config
As of version 1.4 you can now fully configure the message sent to the player!
There is a default message at first install.
You HAVE to use placeholders for the x, y and z coordinates by putting %x %y and %z (These will be replaced by the coordinates). You can add as many as you want. If you do not provide at least one of each, the message will be reset to default.
You can also use all the minecraft color codes to format the messages! (&-codes)
The default message:
- Suggestion by madtomic
Latest Death Log *NEW*
As of version 1.5 you can now use a "Latest Deaths Log". You can enable this log in the config.
It stores the latest death location, along with the players UUID and name and the time/date of death in a YAML file.
As of version 1.6 you can now lookup a players latest death! /pdl lookup
Installing
If you have any suggestions make sure to leave it in the comments and/or send me a PM! I will most likely add it.
This plugin was created for my own server after a user requested this.
