⬇ Download on SpigotSKAPES
The first implementation of capes without any resource pack.
Dependencies:
- BD Core 0.1+ ( block-display-core)
-Java 1.19.4+
-Skript
-SkBee
⚠️ Skapes is still in beta version. It is not perfect! ⚠️
What is Skapes?
Skapes implements capes using the recent Block Displays update. The goal of this plugin is to give a base for anyone adding capes to their server, and with a minimal knowledge of Skript or Java they can implement this into a shop system as well.
How do I use Skapes?
Download the script, download block display core (linked above, or look it up), download the latest version of SkBee and Skript. Upload SkBee and Skript to your plugin folder, and then restart your server.
Then, go to the folder Plugins -> Skript -> Scripts, and drop BD Core and Skapes in there.
Reload them doing /sk reload BDCore-0.1.1.sk and /sk reload Skapes-0.1.sk. If there is no error being sent, then you have successfully added capes!
Now, go to the Skapes file in the Scripts folder. You will see many options there, that are useful for setting the plugin up based on your preferences.
While all the info on how to use them is in the file, some of it may be hard to understand- join our discord linked below for detailed help!
Advanced
Skapes offers a couple possibilities for people trying to play around with capes. The function 'giveCape' can be used in many different ways; you can modify the scale of the cape (scaleX (thickness), scaleY (length), scaleZ (width) and you can use different blocktypes using the the 'type' argument. Have fun with it! Try to use campfires for example. Remember that items that can't be placed down can't be used in block displays!
Be sure to leave a good review if you enjoyed the plugin!
