Ever wanted Creepers to stop blowing up your builds, while still being dangerous? Or maybe you want TNT to level mountains without instantly killing nearby players?
Explosivity gives you fine-grained control over Minecraft's explosions through simple gamerules. Every explosion type can have its entity damage and block damage adjusted independently, letting you tailor the experience to your world or server.
Whether you're running an SMP, building an adventure map, or creating a chaotic PvP experience, Explosivity makes explosion balancing simple.
Features
💥 Customize Every Major Explosion
Configure separate damage multipliers for:
- TNT
- TNT Minecarts
- Creepers
- Charged Creepers
- End Crystals
- Beds
- Respawn Anchors
Each explosion type has two independent multipliers:
- Entity Damage – How much damage it deals to players and mobs.
- Block Damage – How much damage it deals to the world.
Endless Possibilities
With Explosivity, you can easily create experiences like:
- TNT that destroys terrain without harming players.
- Creepers that are deadly but leave your builds untouched.
- Powerful End Crystals for PvP while keeping world damage under control.
- Ridiculously powerful bed explosions.
- A completely peaceful world where explosions don't damage anything.
Gamerules
Each setting is available as a standard Minecraft gamerule.
Every multiplier defaults to 1.0, matching vanilla Minecraft.
- 0.0 → Disable damage completely
- 1.0 → Vanilla behavior
- Above 1.0 → More powerful explosions
- Between 0.0 and 1.0 → Reduced damage
Why Explosivity?
Minecraft's built-in gamerules only let you toggle certain explosion behaviors on or off. Explosivity gives you much more control by letting you decide how powerful each explosion should be, instead of forcing an all-or-nothing choice.
