Bury
Bury items in sand, gravel, dirt, or grass blocks and uncover them later with a brush.
Bury adds a small, vanilla-style archaeology mechanic to Minecraft.
How It Works
- Hold a shovel in your main hand.
- Hold the item you want to bury in your offhand.
- Right-click Sand, Gravel, Dirt, or Grass Block.
- The block becomes suspicious and stores exactly one item.
- Use a Brush to recover it later.
Sand becomes Suspicious Sand, Gravel becomes Suspicious Gravel, and Dirt or Grass Block becomes Suspicious Dirt.
Features
- Supports Sand, Gravel, Dirt, and Grass Block
- Stores exactly one item
- Preserves names, enchantments, durability, books, potions, shulker contents, and other item data
- Uses vanilla brushing animations, sounds, and progression
- Works with modded items
- Multiplayer and dedicated-server compatible
- No commands, keybindings, configuration, or extra storage menus
Be Careful
Breaking a suspicious block destroys the buried item permanently.
Silk Touch, Fortune, explosions, and pistons will not recover it. The Brush is the only safe way to retrieve buried items.
