The Legit & Smart Auto Totem is an advanced, client-side utility designed to replenish your totems in a humanized and intelligent way. Unlike standard mods that instantly spam inventory packets—often leading to server bans or glitches—this mod utilizes predictive algorithms and custom reaction times to ensure your survival naturally.

The mod offers full in-game GUI customization support through Cloth Config API, Trinkets and Mod Menu (all three are optional). If you prefer manual editing, you can also modify the configuration file generated at config/autototem.json.

Here are the most important settings you can customize to fit your playstyle:

• Minimum & Maximum Delay (ms): Sets the randomized window used to replenish totems during normal combat, mimicking natural human reaction times.

⚠️ WARNING: Setting delays under 150ms mimics artificial software and increases the ban risk on modern Anti-Cheats (such as GrimAC or Vulcan). It is highly recommended to use 250ms+ to remain completely safe.

• Smart Death Protection: When enabled, the mod completely bypasses your custom delays to instantly force-equip a totem before fatal hazards occur (high-gravity falls, lava panic, or acute suffocation).
• Advanced Threat Detection: Individual toggles to predict modern PvP dangers within a custom block radius, including incoming hostile projectiles (Arrows, Tridents, Harming II potions), high-altitude Mace smashes (For MC1.21.1 and later), and nearby End Crystal PvP setups.
• Auto-Restore Offhand: Remembers your equipment layout to automatically place your original item (such as a Shield or Blocks) back into your secondary hand right after an emergency totem is consumed.
• Combat Mode Only: A safety filter that prevents automated totem swaps unless you are actively taking damage or an enemy player/monster is in your immediate vicinity.

The mod actively checks your surroundings to predict if an event will be fatal. If a mortal threat is detected, it completely bypasses any configured delays to instantly equip a totem before the impact or damage ticks occur.

It features advanced predictive detection for:

• High-Gravity Falls: Estimates fatal kinetic impact damage based on your health, absorption, fall distance, and downward velocity.
• Critical Lava Panic: Automatically equips a totem if you submerge in lava and drop below 2 hearts (<4.0 HP).
• Acute Suffocation: Reacts immediately when your oxygen supply drops to zero and your health is critical.

The mod is fully optimized for modern combat mechanics, detecting advanced combat setups before they land:

• Incoming Projectiles: Simulates future linear trajectories (up to 8 ticks ahead) for incoming Arrows, Tridents, and Instant Harming II Potions.
• Mace Smash Protection (For MC1.21.1 and later): Detects if an enemy player is falling toward you from above while holding a Mace in their main hand.
• Crystal PvP Detection: Scans for nearby End Crystals, but only activates if an enemy player is also in the immediate vicinity (preventing false triggers near base decorations or farms).

To keep your gameplay looking completely legitimate, you can configure a custom random delay range (Min / Max milliseconds). During standard combat, the mod will wait for this randomized window to expire before moving a new totem into your hand, perfectly mimicking natural human reaction times (This was already mentioned in the "Settings" subcategory).

Never lose track of your equipment. When an emergency totem is consumed, the mod remembers what item you were originally holding in your secondary hand (such as a Shield, Weapon, or Block) and smoothly restores it back to your offhand automatically.

Features a continuous tick-by-tick validation system. Once a totem swap is requested, the mod monitors the slot for 450ms to confirm the server accepted the packet. This eliminates false-positive "server blocked" warnings, even if the totem is consumed immediately after being equipped.
