It gives you new ways to interact with nature, whether you want to tame a new pet or hunt for special items. You also get a helpful guidebook right when you start a new world to learn about all the creatures.
Features:
- Three Behavior Types: Animals act differently depending on their species, acting as passive, neutral, or aggressive mobs.
- Tameable Pets: You can tame more than a third of the new animals to get special abilities like extra storage or help with enchanting.
- Custom Hunter Gear: Adds a new Sleep Arrow that lets you safely knock out dangerous creatures for a short time.
- Lets you craft or buy an Animal Transporter item to pick up and move your sleeping or tamed pets.
- Includes a Zoological Guide book that explains every animal, item, and mechanic in detail.
- Spawns a new Hunter character who sells useful gear and buys items from you.
Animal Roster:
- Spawns aggressive predators like crocodiles, sharks, tigers, and komodo dragons that will chase you on sight.
- Fills forests and plains with neutral animals like black bears, moose, and european bison that only fight back if hit.
- Decorates the world with passive creatures like snails, crickets, toucans, and fennec foxes.
- Adds special nether variants for certain small bugs and snails.
How to Use:
- Check your inventory when you first spawn to read the Zoological Guide.
- Find a Hunter character or search structures to buy Sleep Arrows and an Animal Transporter.
- Shoot aggressive animals with a Sleep Arrow to knock them out safely.
- Use the Animal Transporter on a sleeping or tamed mob to pick it up and carry it home.
- Feed the right items to tameable animals so they can carry your items or help you fight.
