AddyAuth | Secure Your Players

AddyAuth is a new Authentication plugin for servers to secure their playerbase from attackers, hackers, or offline mode issues. With this simple plugin, server admins and owners can set up authentication for players with a very simple installation and minimal configuration. There are only two commands for all players and one command for admins (so far), making it really easy to use and understand.

• Registration/Logging in with simple commands
• Ability for server owners to change the Minimum/Maximum password lengths in the config.yml file
• Ability to disable authentication temporarily in the config.yml if you are doing development. It is not recommended to disable authentication on production servers for security reasons

[ ] Ability for server owners to make registration an optional measure for players
[ ] Ability to give staff a permission node for REQUIRED registration to protect servers and their staff

There are only 3 commands total for now, making it super easy to use and understand. The commands are as follows.

• /register <password> | This command registers a password into the database
• /login <password> | This command unlocks the player and allows them to play like normal
• /auth reload | This command reloads the config file without the need to restart the server

All passwords are hashed and stored in the database.db file. This security measure ensures that server owners and/or hackers can not see the passwords as a plain text and therefore makes the passwords practically gibberish. In the future we will add MySQL/MariaDB functionality if wanted.
