Cryptid Core Co Field Operations

Deep in the forests and snowy backcountry, something is watching you. Six blocks tall. Human-shaped. Not human. It travels in families, hides behind trees, and hurls rocks when its kin are threatened.

What It Does

Cryptid Core Co Field Operations puts a real, believable Bigfoot population into your Minecraft world. Not a boss to grind — a species to track. Bigfoots live in family groups around hidden nests, hunt prey, leave footprints and fur and bone piles behind, and mostly want to be left alone. Mostly.

Explore a forest at night and you might hear a howl — or a wood knock echoing between the trees. Follow the tracks and you might find a family: kids that creep curiously toward you, adults that duck behind trunks and peek, and if you're unlucky, a silver Elder that doesn't run from anything.

You're not the first to come looking. Cryptid Core Co. field crews have been out here for years, and they left behind gear, journals, chest stashes, and the occasional torn recipe page. Find their stations. Read what they saw. Continue the work.

Whatever you do, don't touch the kids.

Structures & Discovery

Six discoverable structures generate across forested biomes, from common to rare:

All six are /locate-able. Cartographer villagers at Expert level sell Field Station Maps; at Master level they sell Abandoned Station Maps — 13 emeralds and an empty map, the same terms as any vanilla treasure map.

The Lore

Every structure is part of Cryptid Core Co.'s decades-long field program. Read journals by Agent L, Agent X, and the rest of the crew scattered through Field Stations and campsites. The Cryptid Core Co. field agents themselves show up in-world too — Agent X, Agent Ropo, and generic Field Agents can be found near their posts.

How It Changes Gameplay

This isn't a horror mod and it isn't a boss mod. It's a mod that puts a living cryptid species in your world and gives you reasons to grab a torch and go looking. Every forest becomes a place where the birds might go quiet.

It's especially good for:

Dedicated "Cryptid Core Co" creative tab collects every item, block, and spawn egg the mod adds.

Compatibility

Built for Minecraft 1.20.1 using Forge 47.4.10. No dependencies. Adds entities, blocks, biomes, structures, and items without changing vanilla mechanics. Plays nicely with most other mods.
