Taleweaver
Connected Lore for RPG Servers
Connect your world. Let players discover it.
Taleweaver turns the separate content of your Paper RPG server into one connected, discoverable world.
Link mobs, NPCs, quests, skills, items, drops, ingredients, recipes, dungeons, biomes, locations, factions, and your own custom content—then let players uncover the relationships in-game.
A World That Knows How It Fits Together
Your server is not a collection of isolated plugin entries. Taleweaver provides a shared semantic layer where content can be connected, categorised, described, and discovered in the ways that make sense for your world.
A mob can relate to its skills, drops, biome, dungeon, faction, quests, and crafted rewards. An NPC can know a faction, reveal a location, offer a quest, or point players toward a recipe. There is no fixed chain: the model grows with your world.
Players Explore. Players Contribute.
- Discover lore through gameplay and view it in a personal
Code (Text):/journal
- Search, filter, favourite, and annotate discovered entries
- Submit improvement suggestions when lore needs to be extended or updated
- Help keep a living world current without changing live lore directly
Admins Shape and Review the World
- Create, edit, organise, and publish lore entries
- Model relationships, hierarchies, categories, and reference types
- Review player suggestions before they become part of the shared world
- Compare revisions and restore earlier versions while preserving history
Optional AI Enrichment — Local or Cloud
AI is optional and disabled by default. When enabled, Taleweaver can help draft descriptions, biographies, rumours, relations, books, and dialogue; it can also help identify lore inconsistencies.
Cloud models
- OpenAI
- Ollama Cloud
Local models
- Ollama
- Hugging Face
- A separately provided llama.cpp-compatible runtime
AI output is treated as a draft and enters the same review process as other suggestions. It does not write directly into live lore.
NPCs with Scoped Knowledge
Give configured Citizens or FancyNpcs NPCs knowledge of selected lore—not unrestricted access to everything. NPC conversations can stay focused on the character, faction, region, quest, or story context you define. Available actions are validated and can require player confirmation.
Native Plugin Integrations
Taleweaver contains integration paths for RPG and custom-content ecosystems including:
MythicMobs · ItemsAdder · MMOItems · Oraxen · Nexo · Slimefun · EcoItems · CraftEngine · ModelEngine
Citizens · FancyNpcs · WorldGuard · Quests · Skill Systems · Class Systems · Profession Systems · Pet Systems
Integrations are optional and activate according to the plugins installed on your server.
Developer API
Taleweaver is not limited to built-in integrations. Developers can bring their own plugin into the same connected world model.
- LoreReferenceBuilder for custom references
- Low-level hook interfaces for external content
- Events for lore, discovery, and revision workflows
- Custom AI provider registration
