Awakened Mobs Mod extends the Epic Fight mod with smarter, weapon-wielding enemies. It transforms normal zombies, skeletons, and piglins into trained fighters who know how to block and counter your attacks. This addon gives everyday monsters real weapons and the speed to chase you down, making every battle much harder.
Features:
- Weapon Masters: Enemies spawn holding greatswords, spears, daggers, and longswords from all material tiers.
- Defensive Guard: The addon lets monsters raise their weapons to block incoming damage for three seconds.
- Instant Parry: Mobs hit your sword away right when you strike, pushing you back or stopping your attack completely.
- Some monsters run just as fast as players so you cannot easily walk backward to escape a fight.
- Skeletons drop their bows and switch to close combat AI when they hold a melee weapon.
- Monsters use the correct blocking animations for the specific weapon they hold.
Affected Monsters:
- Zombie types: Normal zombies, husks, drowned, zombie villagers, and zombified piglins.
- Skeleton types: Normal skeletons, strays, and wither skeletons.
- Piglin types: Normal piglins and piglin brutes.
Configuration:
config/awakenedmobs-common.toml: The main file to change weapon spawn rates, block chances, parry chances, and runner speed.
