Root-Torch — Pass the Torch

Root-Torch is a social pass-the-torch minigame for Paper/Spigot servers — a family-friendly alternative to Root-Joint.

One player lights it. Everyone keeps it alive by passing. Let the timer run out and it goes out — unless you set a new longest-burn record.

Features

• /torch — light the torch (configurable Gold fee → server reserve when economy is available)
• /torchpass <player> — pass to another online player (alias /tpass)
• Only one torch at a time — keeps the whole server in on the same session
• Burn timer with holder warnings + a global 30s ping
• Longest torch record — /torch longest (who lit it, who held last, duration)
• Walking light — optional invisible light follows the holder
• Potion effects while holding (regen / night vision / haste — configurable)
• Chat/tab tag [T] + PlaceholderAPI
• Optional Discord relay via RootMC

Install: Drop jar → restart → edit plugins/RootMC/root-torch.yml. Prefer one of Root-Torch or Root-Joint.
