Shift Double Chest is a custom Minecraft Fabric mod designed to give you precise control over chest placement mechanics and interactions.

- Shift-to-Merge Control: When placing a chest next to an existing chest while sneaking (holding Shift), the mod automatically merges them into a double chest.
- Smart Interaction Management: If you are holding a chest item in your hand and want to open an existing chest, you must move the item away (or clear your hand) to open the inventory, preventing accidental block placements.
