Gnyfty Gnomes is a mod that adds different types of Gnomes to Minecraft, which protect villages and serve players! Gnomes are folklorian creatures that symbolize good luck, protection, and a connection to nature - now, their power can be harnessed in game.
Gnomes are naturally found as placed blocks in villages. Right-clicking them turns them into a living entity, similar to copper golems. The first player to make a gnome come alive automatically “tames” the gnome, who will then follow and serve the player. A player can turn a gnome back to a block by shift-right-clicking it.

There are three types of gnomes: Healers, Archers, and Warriors. Each has different functionality based on their placed or active state.
Healers
Placed: Grow surrounding vegetation, heal nearby pets
Alive: Throws splash potions of healing at injured players or villagers
Warriors
Placed: Gives a strength buff to players within a configurable radius, heal nearby pets
Alive: Combats hostile mobs
Archers
Placed: Shoots arrows at hostile mobs, heal nearby pets
Alive: Shoots arrows at the player’s target
