Thorium Lifesteal

Thorium Lifesteal is a Fabric mod made mainly for the Thorium Lifesteal SMP.

It has also been released publicly so other server owners can use it to host their own Minecraft Lifesteal SMPs with the systems needed to run a full event-style server. The mod adds Lifesteal hearts, team drafting, player base claiming, PvP balance rules, event controls, Simple Voice Chat team support, and restart-safe data saving.

The goal of Thorium Lifesteal is to make running a Lifesteal SMP easier, cleaner, and more organized without needing a bunch of separate plugins or manual admin work.

Main Features

Lifesteal System

Players gain and lose hearts through PvP.

• Killing another player steals 1 heart.
• Only PvP deaths remove hearts.
• Non-player deaths do not remove hearts.
• Players who lose all hearts are eliminated.
• Hearts are saved through server restarts.

Craftable Hearts

Players can craft special Thorium Hearts and right-click them to gain extra hearts.

The recipe is designed to be grindy but still possible during an SMP.

Withdraw Hearts

Players can withdraw hearts into items using:

/withdraw

or:

/withdraw <amount>

This lets players trade, store, or risk hearts as physical items.

Team System

Thorium Lifesteal includes a team system made for SMP events.

• 5 teams
• 7 players per team
• Admin draft tools
• Saved teams
• Scoreboard team support

Team Base Claims

Players can claim a team base with:

/base claim

A base claim covers a 2x2 chunk area. Inside their claimed base, team members are hidden from the locator bar.

Base claims do not protect chests, blocks, or loot, so the server still stays true to Lifesteal PvP gameplay.

Simple Voice Chat Team Groups

If Simple Voice Chat is installed, the mod can create team voice groups.

• Each team gets its own voice group.
• Players are moved into their correct team group.
• Players cannot join other teams’ groups.

Event Tools

Thorium Lifesteal includes tools to help run server events.

• Grace period support
• Final event mode
• End dimension lock until the finale
• Server Offline Mode
• Admin world open/close controls

PvP Balance Rules

The mod also includes important PvP balancing features:

• Protection cap
• Sharpness cap
• Netherite disabled
• Totem limits during PvP
• End crystal damage disabled
• Respawn anchors only work in the Nether
• Only one mace can exist on the server
• Maces cannot be enchanted
