Health&disease Mod brings a detailed health and sickness system into your survival world. It forces you to watch what you eat and maintain a balanced diet with seven different nutrients. If you eat poorly, get hurt, or step into dangerous areas, you catch various illnesses that make survival much harder. The mod adds new challenges to everyday tasks, meaning you have to treat wounds, avoid radiation, and sleep well to stay healthy.

Features:

• Nutrient System: Requires you to balance seven different nutrients, like carbs, fats, and proteins, to stay healthy.
• Disease Mechanics: Adds multiple sicknesses that you catch from bad weather, injuries, or eating the wrong things.
• Burns your stored carbs, fats, and proteins when you are starving to keep you alive a little longer.
• Lets you heal from minor illnesses and health issues simply by getting a good night of sleep.
• Includes a physical alienation system that tracks gene mutations caused by radiation.
• Makes healing realistic because most medicine takes time to work inside your body.

Types of Diseases:

• Upper respiratory tract infection: makes working hard in cold and rainy weather.
• Septicemia and Tetanus: dangerous infections caused by injuries or using dirty items.
• Crismon and Sybok: severe conditions caused by radiation or tumors.
• PTSD: causes attack barriers if you die too many times.
• Endersion: makes it hard to use items due to accidental factors.

Mod Compatibility:

• Works with Farmer’s Delight and Create to automatically recognize their custom foods.
• Adds radiation sickness and cures for Mekanism, Nuclear Science, and Alex’s Caves.
• Includes warming medicine that works with the Cold Sweat mod.

Configuration:

• food_categories: allows you to type the registered name of any food item to add custom nutrients to it.

How to Play:

1. Craft the Patchouli guide book to learn about the different nutrients and sicknesses.
2. Eat a mix of different foods every day to keep your carbs, fats, and proteins balanced.
3. Stay out of the cold rain and treat injuries quickly to avoid catching infections.
4. Sleep in a bed regularly to help your body naturally fight off minor illnesses.
5. Take specific medicines if you get sick, but remember to wait patiently for them to take effect.
