Flimsy Torches Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1) – Manage Light Sources As Torches Burn

Flimsy Torches Mod changes how light works in your world by making torches burn out over time. Instead of lasting forever, every torch slowly fades through four different stages until it completely dies. This mod makes exploring caves and lighting up your base more challenging because you must keep track of your light sources. It also gives you new ways to save your light, like putting torches inside empty lanterns to make them burn longer. You can even recycle the broken scraps to get some of your materials back.

How to Use:

1. Place a flimsy torch on a wall or the floor and watch it slowly burn down over time.
2. Craft an empty lantern with eight iron nuggets on a crafting table.
3. Right-click the empty lantern with a flimsy torch in your hand to light it up.
4. Pick up burnt-out torches from the walls and combine the scraps in your crafting grid to recover coal.
5. Craft a flimsy torch with magma cream to get a normal torch that never goes out.
