The DayX
The virus is fully undetectable on first stages, but soon, infected will slowly become a green, dangerous for a life creature - Zombie. Once you have breathed suspicious air, you have only one day to find the cure, or you will no longer be a human... Cure is an ender-portal - where that zombies have became. You have to touch this portal with an Emerald to cure. If you late, players will search you for killing you or doing something another stuff with you - with zombie.

Features
Lightweight. The plugin DayX is extremely lightweight, but please note that it may cause lags on a very weak servers.
Free. DayX is an absolutely free plugin.
Dangerous Zombies. Bored of weak and stupid zombies made in Vanilla Minecraft? Forget about them, DayX makes them very strong and dangerous.
Zombie Virus. Brand new PvE system with zombies due the UNI-41 - a strange virus, which cannot be cured by any medicine. It will make you strong, but only for a day, after this one you`ll become a Zombie.
Unique cure. To cure, you need to Right-click on the ender-portal with an emerald, and wait some - you will become a normal.
Zombie Transformation System. Once you have became a zombie, you will be in a spectator mode and look at yourself as a zombie or look in a dark void, as lucky will you be. You can respawn as a human just using special command.
More zombies. Zombies will spawn around the players all the day, all the night - all the time, which make players create castles, towers, or bunkers, or something else to defend themselves.
Configurable. You can easily change all the message, titles, particles, sounds and other in the config file.

UNI-41
To be infected, you just must stand near to the zombie, or fight with him, or breath his air, or touch another infected things, drop, items, or players who are already infected by the virus.
Stage 1. The undetectable stage, it won`t tell you that you are infected, you won`t know it.
Stage 2. From you will now come suspicious sounds and strange particles, players will now have the reason to run away from you, or to kill you.
Stage 3. You become a slow, you cannot run fast anymore.
Stage 4. You became a bit stronger than you was before.
Stage 5. You are a bit slower now that you was, you are now can easily see everything at the night, like a real zombie.
Stage 6. You want to eat a lot.
Stage 7. You are now very slow, and very hungry, and you have the nausea, but you are very strong, and inside you, there is another new heart.
Stage 8. Your health is regenerating faster than it does before.
Stage 9. You hardly can walk, you hardly can live - you are ve-e-e-ry hungry. You want to eat people, your brothers. Because they are no longer your brothers. You are very strong now.
Stage 10. #%&@! What is that? You cannot see any more. You hardly can move, you are weak as the vanilla Minecraft zombie. And... what? What?...
Final stage - A day after you was infected. The virus has completely destroyed your brain, you cannot control yourself any more - you are now green, you are now stupid, you are now weak - you are now the Zombie. You will walk all around the world finding your another death.

Cure
Once you have infected, you have one Minecraft day to find a cure before you`ll become a green creature. There is only one way to do that, here it is.
You have to bring an emerald and find the ender portal. After this, you have to take the emerald in your hand, and right-click the ender portal (the portal, which is black, not the blocks around it) and wait some. Here is a lightning bolt. And... ye, now you are a normal human. It`s highly recommended to use to find a secure place such as bunker, castle, etc.

Installation
To install DayX on your server, download the archive "DayX.zip" from this page, open it and then drag the folder "DayX" and a file "DayX.jar" in your plugins folder. Now just restart your server.

Why don`t you make it for 1.7.* too?

A: DayX is using commands and stuff which are not in Minecraft 1.7.* releases.
Q: Why can`t I use scoreboard plugins?
A: DayX is most works on Minecraft commands and scoreboards as variables, so using another scoreboard plugins will disable this Minecraft features and kill DayX plugin.
Q: It`s free... why not open source?
A: I don`t like when someone looks at my code and / or decompiling my jobs.
