Touhou Chatty Maids makes interacting with your maids in Minecraft feel natural, immersive, and hands-free. Instead of navigating complex GUIs and toggling settings manually, simply talk to your maid in local in-game chat!

Whether you are ordering her to gear up for battle, harvest crops, head home, or change her shift, your nearest owned maid will understand your intent, react in chat with personality, and execute the command instantly. Perfect for survival gameplay, roleplay, and scripted Minecraft videos.

💡 Tip: For the best experience, disable the maid's default AI chat so Touhou Chatty Maids handles all chat responses seamlessly.

⚠️ Warning: This mod is currently designed with only Single Player in mind. Running it on a multiplayer server means ALL maids will share the same global triggers, replies, and reactions, and /tlmchat commands are accessible without OP permissions. Use on servers at your own risk!

• 💬 Natural Chat Commands: Command your nearest owned maid within a 20-block radius using plain text in chat.
• ⚡ In-Game Management Commands: Dynamically add triggers, responses, and order replies directly in-game using /tlmchat.
• ⚔️ Smart Weapon & Gear Swapping:
  • Automatically searches the maid's inventory for requested weapons (Swords, Axes, Bows, Crossbows, Tridents, Gohei wands) and equips them to her main hand.
  • Automatically sets the corresponding combat AI task (Melee, Ranged, Crossbow, Trident, Danmaku).
  • Contextually warns you if she lacks required weapons or ammunition (e.g., missing arrows).
• 🏠 Persistent Home System: Save and manage home locations per maid using server-saved NBT storage.
• 🔒 Grounding & Lockdown:
  • Put maids on "grounded" lockdown (restricting movement to home, locking doors/gates, hiding chat bubbles, and silencing audio).
  • Quickly toggle door opening, gate access, climbing, riding, and chat bubbles via chat.
• 🌾 Task Automation: Order maids to farm crops, sugar cane, melons, cocoa, honey, clear snow/grass, fish, shear sheep, milk cows, feed animals, feed the player, place torches, or play board games.
• ☀️ Shift Schedules: Easily toggle work schedules between Day Shift, Night Shift, or Full Shift.
• 🎒 Flexible Pickup Control: Dynamically filter item/XP pickup preferences (All items & XP, XP only, Items only, or Disabled).
• ❤️ Favorability & Dialogue:
  • Dynamic responses with chat delays to simulate natural conversation.
  • Respect your maid—using rude language will decrease her favorability!
• ⚙️ Fully Configurable: Customize triggers, aliases, and replies through auto-generated JSON configuration files or in-game commands.

💻 In-Game Commands (/tlmchat)

You can manage orders, triggers, and replies directly inside Minecraft using the /tlmchat command tree:

🛠️ Configuration Files

On first run, two configuration files are generated in your .minecraft/config/ directory:

1. TCM_orders_config.json: Defines order IDs, trigger keywords, and descriptions.
2. chatty_maids_replies_config.json: Defines trigger words and possible responses (randomly picked using | separation).

Both files can be modified directly or updated dynamically using /tlmchat commands in-game.
