QoL Nether Harvest
Java data pack listed for Minecraft 26.x. Downloads from the MC Java Mods app on Android.
This aims to better the quality of harveting in the Nether, forcing the player to use hoes and shears to cut down Fungus, Roots and Wart Blocks.

The aim of this Datapack is to help players feel the Minecraft mechanics are more cohesive, making a little change: How the Nether flora breaks.
- The Crimson Fungus and Warp Fungus need shears to drop. If you hit them with your hand, they will just break.
- Warped Roots and Crimson Roots do the same. Now, they only drop if broken with shears.
- Warped and Crimson Wart Blocks only drop when broken with a hoe.
This has been a pet peeve of mine since 1.16 dropped nearly six years ago. I know other datapacks like this exist, but this is as vanilla friendly as it gets. I made this using the Gemini AI.
