Wolf Whistle

Wolf Whistle is a lightweight Fabric mod for Minecraft 26.2 that lets you bind a craftable whistle to one tamed wolf and manage it through a radial command wheel.

Highlights

Behavior Modes

Wander

The wolf walks around or sits to rest within 24 blocks of the position where the command was given.

Sit

The wolf remains seated in place and stays out of combat.

Defend

The wolf attacks creatures that hurt its owner or the owner's most recent target.

Hunt Monsters

The wolf prioritizes attackers and creatures targeting its owner, then actively hunts nearby hostile monsters.

Hunt All

The wolf attacks most nearby creatures. Players, villagers and wandering traders, iron golems, allays, axolotls, armor stands, and tamed animals are protected.

Recall

The wolf is teleported to its owner without changing its current behavior mode. Recall can work across dimensions and attempts to load the wolf's last known area when needed.

How to Use

  1. Craft a Wolf Whistle using copper ingots, iron nuggets, and string.
  2. Hold the whistle, sneak, and right-click a tamed wolf you own to bind it.
  3. Right-click the bound whistle to open the radial menu.
  4. Move the mouse toward a command and left-click to whistle.
  5. Right-click the wolf normally whenever you want to toggle manual sitting or resume its current mode.

Each whistle binds to one wolf, so multiple wolves can be managed individually.

Languages

Wolf Whistle includes English (US and UK), Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, German, French (France and Canada), Polish, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish (Spain and Mexico).

Requirements

For multiplayer, Wolf Whistle must be installed on both the client and server.
