Project Mojang Patch

Project Mojang Patch is a technical plugin for Paper servers designed to recreate historical mechanics, legacy exploits, and classic Minecraft bugs that have been patched in modern versions of the game in a controlled and simulated environment.

This project functions as an experimental framework and testing sandbox for administrators and technical communities who wish to study the behavior of legacy faults (such as update suppression, classic duplications, or chunk boundary physics alterations) without compromising the overall stability of the server or the region files.

• ASPM Command Engine (/aspm): Integrated a robust administration and index command system to manage, inspect, and trigger mechanics on demand.
  • /aspm ind all - Displays an interactive, color-coded index layout of all legacy bugs supported by the framework.
  • /aspm ind [glitch_name] - Instantly forces, simulates, or spawns the environment required to test a specific mechanic at the player's current location.
• Update Suppression: Recreated the historical update suppression exploit triggered via a network of 5 connected rails. Temporarily freezes neighboring block updates using controlled, synthetic heavy-thread processing.
• CCE (Crony Chunk Exploits): Re-engineered edge-of-chunk block physics behavior to trigger automated update suppression loops when components cross chunk borders within precise sub-tick windows.
• Floating Redstone Components: Bypassed native drop-checks allowing redstone dust, repeaters, and comparators to remain active and functional while floating directly on top of open trapdoors.
• Tile Entity / Block Entity Swap: Added a mechanism to safely copy block states (e.g., containers via sneak-breaking) and forcefully hot-swap them onto newly placed structures seamlessly.
• Infinite Furnace XP Duplication: Added state tracking to fixed coordinates upon container destruction. Replacing and breaking blocks at corrupted block locations endlessly spawns cached experience levels.
• Voidless Void Trading: Recreated instant, un-lockable villager mechanics when trade interactions happen inside active End Gateways or End Portal structures.
• Mob Inventory Shadowing: Implemented container mirroring allowing real-time, uninterrupted access to underlying data inventories of chested mobs (Mules/Donkeys) via interaction filters.
• Ender Dragon AI Freezing: Re-implemented legacy Bedrock pathfinding limitations that freeze the active objective target loop of an Ender Dragon when spawned or positioned directly over Bedrock structures.
• Dragon Overworld Transportation: Lifted spatial transit restriction boundaries, allowing Ender Dragons to transition safely through portals into other dimensions without crashing the sector.
• Chunk Save State Rollbacks: Linked center-of-chunk redstone updates to chunk-unload cycles to mock state-saving discrepancies and simulation rollbacks.
• Overstacking Glitch: Enabled item merger handling that bypasses default slot maximums up to a hard cap of 128 items for specific assets, such as books containing historical curses (Binding / Vanishing).
• Wither-Resistant Armor Stands: Patched default health decay tables to make standard Armor Stand components immune to wither status effects and localized explosions.

Technical

• Modern Paper API Integration: Fully adapted all global broadcasting, logging, and world messaging structures to use the required Kyori Adventure API (Component) and LegacyComponentSerializer framework.
• Cursor Management Cleanup: Refactored item handling logic to utilize null-safe cursor clearing mechanisms in InventoryClickEvent to prevent deprecated stack flags.
• Event Architecture: Organized all technical features into an asynchronous-friendly, high-priority (EventPriority.HIGHEST) modular system inside SupresorListener.
