NordProtect

NordProtect is an advanced and lightweight security plugin built exclusively for Velocity proxies. It protects your network's staff and administrator accounts by enforcing mandatory, real-time Discord 2FA verification before granting access to restricted game servers.

Features

• Configurable Staff Protection: Manually specify which administrative accounts require Discord verification via the config.yml file, leaving regular players completely unaffected.
  
  
• Interactive Discord 2FA: Automatically triggers an interactive Discord direct message containing an "Allow Login" button whenever a registered staff member joins the proxy.
  
  
• Delayed Safe Routing: Holds unverified staff members securely in place during their initial join phase and automatically routes them to the designated target server after a smooth 5-second countdown upon approval.
  
  
• Smart Unlinked Handling: If an admin joins without a linked Discord ID, they can seamlessly use the in-game registration command (/nprotect register) to link their account and be automatically kicked to log back in safely.
  
  
• Fully Customizable Messages: Every single title, chat message, kick screen, and Discord embed style can be completely configured to match your server's branding.
  
  
• Lightweight & Modern: Developed natively for modern Velocity environments using JDA (Java Discord API).

⚙️ Commands & Permissions

• /nprotect register <player> <discordId> — Links a staff member's username to their Discord ID. (Requires proxy operator permission)
  
  
• /nprotect remove <player> — Removes a staff member from the protection system. (Requires proxy operator permission)
  

Setup Instructions

1. Drop the NordProtect.jar into your Velocity proxy's plugins folder.
   
   
2. Start or restart your proxy to generate the default configuration files.
   
   
3. Open plugins/nordprotect/config.yml and enter your Discord Bot Token.
   
   
4. Add your staff members to the admins list.
   
   
5. Restart your proxy or reload to apply changes!
