GGuard

GGuard is a lightweight and highly configurable Paper plugin that protects your server from bad words, chat bypass attempts, and spam while providing an easy-to-use management interface for staff.

This is my first public plugin. Previously, I mainly developed private plugins directly for Minecraft servers, and I'm excited to finally share one with the community.

Features

🚫 Advanced Bad Word Filter

• Block any word listed in badwords.yml.

• Easily add or remove blocked words.

• Advanced anti-bypass detection that catches variations such as:

  • fish
  • FIsh
  • fi_sh
  • fi\sh
  • and many other common bypass methods.

💬 Anti-Spam Protection

• Detects spam messages automatically.
• Fully integrated with the flag system.

🚩 Flag System

• Players receive flags when they violate chat rules.
• Configure how many flags are required before punishment is applied.
• Fully customizable through configuration files.

🔇 Automatic Mute System

• Automatically executes a configurable mute command once a player reaches the flag limit.
• Use your preferred punishment plugin by changing the command in the config.

Permissions

Tested

GGuard has been tested on alaskamc.xyz, where it performed reliably in production without issues.
