Dont Cry V2 is a horror survival addon built around escalating dread as the days pass, mixing scripted story beats with unpredictable ambient encounters.

Day 3 — The Evil Jester: Sometime after day 3 hits, an Evil Jester spawns close to a random player. A roughly 53-second "blocks away" countdown ticks across the screen as he approaches, backed by his own chase music, before the encounter resolves and he vanishes. He can also show up naturally at random in the dark (rare), spawned from his spawn egg, or summoned directly.

Day 5 — The Sleep Chase: Try to sleep once day 5 arrives and you're warned, then a Jester spawns and gives chase — sleeping is locked out entirely until he's dealt with. The same chase can be triggered on demand with the !TheDoorJester chat command.

Day 6 — The Jester Window: A Jester Window appears just outside, knocking on a loop. If someone goes out to investigate, a Bent Jester "kills" the window and starts chasing whoever came outside.

Ambient encounters — no day gate, just bad luck in the dark:

Stalker Chase line: starts as a lone Stalker Chase, then silently transforms every ~15 seconds — Stalker Chase 2, then 3, then the Stalker Chase 4 Killer — dropping nearby players into darkness and fog once it reaches its final form.

Pale, Lurking, and Twisted Stalkers: passive and non-attacking, but get too close and you're suddenly teleported away with a flash of darkness.

The "Something" family: a large set of escalating stalker forms — Distant, Approaching, Closer, Very Close, plus separate Lurking and Watching progressions — representing something unseen getting closer before it's finally "Gone." The core Something (Horror) mob now despawns on its own after a few minutes if it isn't dealt with first.

Fog and darkness effects are woven through nearly every encounter to sell the horror moments, and jumpscare-family mobs vanish instantly the moment they land a killing blow rather than playing a normal death animation. Recent tuning: Evil Jester's natural spawn rate was cut way down and he's capped at one alive at a time; Stalker Chase's spawn weight was raised since he was too rare; and Something mobs no longer linger forever.
