This mod adds a new plant called the Slime Fern as an alternative and renewable source of Slimeballs without needing to hunt down a Slime chunk. The Slime Fern grows infrequently in Swamps in ones and twos, and more frequently in Lush Caves in small patches.
Breaking a Slime Fern will produce a Slimeball. Right-clicking a Slime Fern with Shears will drop the Slime Fern itself. Using Bone Meal on a Slime Fern has a 20% chance of dropping a Slimeball without destroying the fern. Your speed is slightly reduced when moving through a Slime Fern.
