S.S. Nomadic (1911) - The Lone White Star Survivor (includes Ingenieur Minard)

This is my build of the S.S. Nomadic, one of the tender ships of the Olympic Class. It is an updated version of my 2024 build, and now includes the 1912 version with an added wheelhouse, as well as her 1934+ appearance, while she was known as the Ingenieur Minard. It is built in 1.8:1 scale and has full interiors.
The Nomadic was a passenger tender launched in 1911 and built by Harland & Wolff shipyards. She was intended to serve the Olympic Class and future ships of the White Star Line in Cherbourg, France, transporting first and second class passengers to the large ships, which could not enter the small port. Nomadic was joined by her smaller fleet mate Traffic, which transported the third class passengers along with mail, baggage and cargo.
Both ships served during World War 1 as minesweepers, and were later sold in 1933 to the Cherbourg Tow & Rescue Society. During World War 2 she was used in the evacuation of Cherbourg, and was later based in Portsmouth harbour. She was once again used for tender duties after the war due to Cherbourg being damaged and served many large ships including the Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth.
Nomadic was eventually sold and converted into a floating restaurant in Paris. In 2006 she was bought by the Northern Ireland government and transported back to Belfast, where she was built. She was mostly restored and serves today as a museum ship, the final White Star liner left in existence.
