Vanilla Fluent Plus [VFP]

✨ Description

Vanilla Fluent Plus [VFP] is a Minecraft modpack that aims mainly to optimize the game, but it also improve it adding several visual effect and add many quality of life features. All the features work entirely on the client-side, so you can use this modpack also on vanilla server.

📖 Main Features

Optimization

The main goal of the modpack is to allow every PC to achieve good performance in every situation, without sacrificing graphic quality, all this thanks to mods such as:

• Sodium: High-performance rendering engine replacement for Minecraft (by CaffeineMC);
• Entity Culling: Using async path-tracing to hide Block-/Entities that are not visible (by tr7zw);
• More Culling: Changes how multiple types of culling are handled (by FX & 1Foxy2);
• FerriteCore: Reduces the memory usage of Minecraft in a few different ways (by malte0811);
• Lithium: No-compromises game logic optimization mod (by CaffeineMC);
• Dynamic FPS: Reduce resource usage while Minecraft is in the background (by julian665);
• Immediately Fast: Speed up immediate mode rendering in Minecraft (by RaphiMC);
• BadOptimizations: Optimization mod that focuses on things other than rendering (by thosea);
• Better Block Entities: Optimization mod that improves block entity rendering (by cseden);

Render Distance

In Vanilla Minecraft increase the render distance usually means losing a bunch of FPS but thanks to the Voxy mod (by cortex) you will able to achieve extreme render distance without sacrificing performance. I also suggest you to use the mod Chunky (by pop4959), included in the modpack, to pre-generate the chunks and unlock the full potential of the Voxy mod from the very beginning;

To use the mod Chunky copy an paste the following commands one by one:

/chunky world world
/chunky shape circle
/chunky spawn
/chunky radius 2048
/chunky start

With these commands you will pregenerate an area around your spawn with a radius of about 128 chunks (ATTENTION: you will have to wait until the pre-generation is concluded to start playing)

Optifine Features

The modpack also includes a bunch of mod that replicate all the Optifine features:

• Zoomify (Zoom): A zoom mod with infinite customizability (by isxander);
• LambDynamicLights: Adds dynamic lights to Minecraft (by LambdAurora);
• Continuity: Allows for efficient connected textures (by Pepper_Bell);
• [ETF] Entity Texture Features: Emissive, Random & Custom texture support for entities (by Traben);
• [EMF] Entity Model Features: Custom Entity Model replacement mod (by Traben);
• OptiGUI: Blazing fast custom GUI textures with built-in custom GUI support (by opekope2);

Visual Effect

Visual effects in Minecraft are often quite flat and simple, for this reason there are some mods that add tiny visual upgrade and new particles, improving visually the game, but maintaining the vanilla-style:

• 3D Skin Layers: Render the player skin layer in 3d (by tr7zw);
• Better Clouds: Beautiful clouds in touch with the vanilla style (by qendolin);
• Explosive Enhancement: Makes the explosion animation look cooler (by Superkat32);
• Not Enough Animations: Bringing first-person animations to the third-person (by tr7zw);
• Particle Effects: Unique textured particles for every effect (by K-TEAM);
• Particular Reforged: Enhances ambience with many hand-crafted visual effects (by Leclowndu93150);

QoL Features

The modpack also includes many Quality of Life features, such as:

• Armor Hider: Hide or customize armor rendering (by zannagh);
• Axiom: All-in-one tool for editing Minecraft Worlds (by Moulberry);
• Cubes Without Borders: Allows you to play in a borderless fullscreen window (by Kira-NT);
• Flashback: Record gameplay, play it back and create stunning cinematic shots (by Moulberry);
• Freecam: a highly customizable freecam mod (by hashalite);
• Gamma Utils (Fullbright): Brightness mod, making it easy to see in the dark (by Sjouwer);
• Jade: shows information about what you are looking at (by Snownee);
• Light Overlay: Light Level Overlay Mod that's efficient and powerful (by lugosieben);
• Litematica: a schematic mod with extra features for creative mode work (by masa & sakura-ryoko);
• Pick Up Notifier: Be notified about all the things you've just collected (by Fuzs);
• Scribble: allows you to edit your books with rich formatting options (by chrrs);
• Shulker Box Tooltip: allows to see a preview window of a shulker box contents (by MisterPeModder);
• World Edit: Minecraft Map Editor with selections, schematics, copy and paste… (by EngineHub);
• Xaero's World Map: adds a full screen world map (by thexaero);

Resource Packs

To further improve the aesthetics of the game (but maintaining the vanilla-style), there are also some resource packs; they are, in order from the bottom to the top:

• Stay True: Visual remaster of the current default texture-pack (by haimcyfly);
• Vanilla Tweaks: Customizable texture pack with many tiny improvement (by Vanilla Tweaks Team);
• Default Connected Textures: included in the Continuity mod (by Pepper_Bell);
• Glass Pane Culling Fix: included in the Continuity mod (by Pepper_Bell);
• Recolourful Containers (Dark): Immersive and more colorful GUIs and HUD (by Vi_Tul);
• Theone's Eating Animation Pack: Adds sprite animations for edible and drinkable items (by theoness1);
• Even Better Enchants: Unique textures for Enchanted Books (by mythitorium);
• Enchant Icons: Makes enchantment names have icons and colors (by CountXD);
• Visual: Armor Trims: Armor trims now show up in your inventory (by thanos);
• Almost Vanilla Potions: Vanilla potions with a bit of personality (by Delled);

Shaders

If you have a decently good PC or you want to take high quality screenshots of your builds, there are also 2 shader packs with custom settings, both compatible with the Voxy mod:

• Complementary - Reimagined: Preserving the elements of MC with exceptional quality (by EminGT);
• I Like Vanilla: A shader that improves minecraft's style instead of replacing it (by What42);

⚠️ Multiplayer Alert

Some of the mods in the modpack can, in some situations, used to cheat in multiplayer servers (like seeing trough walls); by default these features are disabled;

PLEASE USE THE MODPACK RESPONSIBLY; DON'T BE A JERK, RUINING THE GAME FOR OTHER PEOPLE!

The modpack include a preset for both the base game and the mod options with customized key binds; these are the main changes:

• Base Video Settings: Render Distance 8 chucks, Simulation Distance 5 chunks, Max Fps 160 FPS, Improved Transparency On, Cloud Distance 64 chunks, Entity Shadows Off, Max Shadow Distance 32 chunk;
• Voxy: Service Threads 4, Use Sodium Threads On, Pixels^2 Subdivision Size 63, (Voxy) Render Distance 128 chucks;
• Xaero's World Map: Open World Map Key Bind X, Footsteps Off;
• Zoomify: Zoom Key Bind C, Secondary Zoom Key Bind V;
• Freecam: Toggle Freecam Key Bind F6, Control Player Key Bind F7;
• Armor Hider: Helmet Visibility 0%, Chestplate Visibility 0%, Leggins Visibility 0%, Boots Visibility 0%, Offhand Visibility 100%, Combat Detection On;
• Light Overlay: Toggle Overlay Key Bind N, Vertical Overlay 1 chunk;
