Viral Player Entities was specially created for Blockbuster Studio based on requests, suggestions, and feedback from my audience and commenters.

🆕 What's New — v1.2.1

🎬 AI Removed

All autonomous AI behaviors have been removed from the 20 entities.

They no longer:

• ❌ Wander randomly
• ❌ Attack targets
• ❌ Search for enemies
• ❌ Follow players
• ❌ Pick up items automatically
• ❌ Equip items automatically
• ❌ Perform autonomous mob actions
• ❌ Randomly look around

The entities now function as visual/scripted actors.

🏃 Exact Player Movement

Movement has been adjusted to better match vanilla player behavior.

Underwater Movement	0.02
Knockback Resistance	0.0

This makes the actors much more predictable for Blockbuster Studio recording and playback.

🛠️ v1.2.0 — Action and Stuff Compatibility

⚠️ Important: Required when using Action and Stuff 1.11+ alongside Viral Player Entities.

🐛 Fixed Render Errors

Fixed repeated Molang errors such as:

geometry.xxxxxx not found
texture.xxxxxx not found
material.xxxxxx not found

🔧 What Caused It?

Previous versions reused Mojang's vanilla player render controllers.

Action and Stuff 1.11 introduced custom skin geometry, texture, and material keys into the same player rendering pipeline.

This caused the two systems to conflict.

✅ The Fix

Viral Player Entities now uses dedicated render controllers:

controller.render.vpe.first_person
controller.render.vpe.third_person
controller.render.vpe.map

Dedicated spectator render controllers were also added.

New render controller file:

render_controllers/viral_player_entity.render_controllers.json

This keeps Viral Player Entities separated from the vanilla player rendering pipeline.

📥 Installation

1️⃣ Download

Download the latest:

ViralPlayerEntities.mcaddon

2️⃣ Import

Open the .mcaddon file using Minecraft Bedrock Edition.

Minecraft will automatically import both packs.

3️⃣ Activate

Go to:

World Settings → Add-Ons

Enable:

Viral Player Entities BP
Viral Player Entities RP

4️⃣ Action and Stuff

If you're using Action and Stuff, make sure you're running:

Action and Stuff 1.11 or newer

No special load order is required.

⚠️ Known Issues / Notes

🔄 Upgrading from v1.1.0 or Earlier

If you still experience Molang render errors after updating:

1. Remove the old Resource Pack.
2. Re-import the latest version.
3. Restart Minecraft if necessary.
4. Re-enable the updated packs.

Minecraft Bedrock may sometimes retain an older Resource Pack copy because of cached UUID data.
