Placeable Plants Expanded Mod (26.1.2, 1.20.1) – Decorate Any Block

Placeable Plants Expanded Mod extends Placeable Plants with support for almost all plant types. It lets you put vegetation on blocks that usually block plant growth, like stone, sand, or wood. The mod also changes how your world generates, adding flowers and grass to rocky hills, beaches, and icy areas for a wild, overgrown look.

Features:

• Place Anywhere: Lets you set down flowers, grass, and bushes on non-soil blocks.
• Wild World Generation: Changes map loading so plants grow naturally on cliffs, deserts, and icy riverbeds.
• Supports plant blocks from both the base game and other installed mods.
• Keeps normal rules for farm crops and tree saplings, so they still need dirt or farmland to grow.
• Makes caves, ravines, and beaches look much more detailed and natural.

Configuration:

• placement_blacklist: blocks where plants can never be placed by hand or by world generation.
• worldgen_blacklist: blocks where plants will not spawn naturally during world creation (tree leaves are blocked by default).

How to Use:

1. Hold a flower, grass, or bush block in your hand.
2. Right-click to place it on hard blocks like stone, bricks, or sand.
3. Explore new terrain to find plants growing naturally in strange places.
4. Open the placeable-common.toml file in your config folder to change which blocks reject plant growth.
