Lodged Mod adds real physical arrows that stick into your character, enemies, and shields during combat. This mod changes how archery works by leaving arrows lodged in bodies and armor until you pull them out. You have to deal with bleeding wounds, craft bandages to heal, and carefully remove arrows to avoid taking more damage.
Features:
- Visible Arrows: Arrows stay stuck in animated body parts, shields, and armor instead of disappearing after a hit.
- Arrow Recovery: You can pull arrows out of bodies and get them back in your inventory to shoot again.
- Players can rotate their inventory screen to click and remove arrows stuck in their own body.
- Shields and armor catch arrows to protect your body, but the items lose durability while the arrows are stuck inside.
- Leg shots slow you down for a few seconds, making combat feel heavier and more dangerous.
- Having too many arrows stuck in your body causes a dizzy screen effect.
- Arrows have a small chance to break when they hit a hard block or an enemy.
- Special arrows like tipped or spectral arrows keep their magic effects when you pull them out.
Wound Depths:
- Shallow wounds are easy to pull out quickly with a very low risk of causing harm.
- Lodged wounds act like normal hits that take a bit of time to remove safely.
- Deep lodged wounds come from crossbows or strong hits, making them hard to pull out and highly likely to cause bleeding.
Removal Chances:
- Head hits have a 50% chance to be removed safely without breaking the arrow.
- Chest hits give you a 72% chance of safe removal.
- Arm and leg hits offer a 90% chance to pull the arrow out without any trouble.
How to Use:
- Open your inventory and click on the arrows stuck in your character preview to pull them out.
- Hold the G key to pull arrows out of your body while walking around in the world.
- Look at a tamed pet or ride a horse, then hold G to remove arrows from them.
- Craft a bandage using three string and one paper.
- Hold the V key when you are bleeding to use a bandage straight from your inventory to heal the wound.
