RallyVote

Turn every server-list vote into a reward, a streak, and a server-wide event.

RallyVote is a lightweight Paper and Folia plugin that rewards voters, runs configurable vote parties, tracks daily voting streaks, and queues rewards when a player votes offline.

What is RallyVote?

Players vote because the feedback is immediate and visible. RallyVote makes each vote valuable to the voter while moving the whole server toward the next vote party.

Features

• In-game item editor — use /rally vote edit to copy real items into the vote and vote-party reward tracks. Custom names, enchantments, model data, NBT, and filled shulkers are preserved.
• Vote rewards — give items, Vault money, and any console command for every vote.
• Server-wide vote parties — after a configurable number of votes, everyone online gets a prize.
• Offline reward queue — votes are recorded while a player is offline and delivered on join.
• Daily vote streaks — encourage players to vote every day, with a configurable grace window.
• Folia-ready — vote events are safely moved from NuVotifier's async event to the correct thread.
• PlaceholderAPI support — show votes, streaks, and party progress on scoreboards, tab lists, or holograms.
• Simple storage — one flat YAML file, no database setup.

Commands

When RallyDaily is not installed, the standalone aliases /vote, /votes, and /encore remain available.

Requirements

• Paper, Purpur, or Folia 1.20+
• Java 21
• NuVotifier for real votes (/rally vote testvote works without it)
• Optional: PlaceholderAPI, Vault, and an economy plugin

Installation

1. Put the RallyVote JAR in your server's plugins folder.
2. Restart the server.
3. Add your voting-site URLs in plugins/RallyVote/config.yml.
4. Run /rally vote edit to build the item rewards in-game.
5. Connect the voting sites to NuVotifier and test with /rally vote testvote <player>.

Important behavior

Offline rewards use the current configured reward when they are delivered. If an inventory is full, only the leftover items are dropped safely at the player's feet.

RallyVote is part of the Rally engagement suite with RallyDaily and RallyRefer. Each plugin works on its own.
