Update (July 2, 2026) — The prediction system now uses Projective Velocity Blending (PVB): enemy movement is extrapolated from real velocity, acceleration, and per-enemy packet timing instead of a fixed assumption, so accuracy holds up when a connection gets rough. The Strafe Coach was reworked in the same pass, and the config screen was rebuilt in a flat, dark style.
SpamHUD is a client-side HUD and combat-assist mod for Fabric, built for Minecraft 1.21.8 potion PvP without an attack cooldown. It surfaces information the client already has — armor and weapon durability, a target's visible health, packet timing, your own velocity — closer to where it's needed, rather than requiring it to be tracked manually mid-fight.
No module clicks, moves, or aims on the player's behalf. Every module in Assists and Network is read-only: an arrow, a pip, or a line of text reflecting current state. Nothing in the mod automates input.
Fabric only, 1.21.8
📥 Installation
SpamHUD requires Fabric Loader for Minecraft 1.21.8. Place the downloaded jar in the mods folder like any other Fabric mod, then launch with the Fabric profile.
The config screen opens with the O key as a single window with two views. Modules is the primary view: five categories (Combat HUD, Assists, Network, Visual, Faction), with each module's settings — ranges, thresholds, cooldowns — contained in that module's own panel rather than scattered elsewhere. Tuning holds only settings that are genuinely global: HUD opacity, scale, accent color, and two presets.
The Netherite PvP preset in Tuning enables the module set built for that ruleset in one action — sprint-reset coaching, trade reach, the knockback arrow, and prediction tuned for full-netherite fights. Reset Predictors restores the extrapolation system's gentler defaults.
🧠 Modules
Combat HUD: armor and weapon durability with tiered warnings, totem count, buff timers, target HP with the delta to your own health precomputed, a combo/DPS meter, the PvP combat-tag countdown, and a scoreboard re-render matching the rest of the HUD.
Assists: crosshair-level reads relevant to no-cooldown, high-knockback-resistance fights. A Strafe Coach tracking the enemy's actual lateral velocity and flagging direction reversals, a Sprint-Reset Coach for W-tap timing, a knockback-direction arrow, and trade-reach brackets indicating mutual hit range.
Network: extrapolation and connection diagnostics. PVB projects enemy movement from measured per-entity packet interval and jitter rather than a fixed tick assumption, with a debug readout of interval, phase, lead distance, and decay. The accompanying lag panel covers TPS, memory, GC time, 1%-low FPS (in addition to the average), ping jitter, and a rubberband alert gated to actual desync distance rather than routine correction packets.
Visual: fullbright, hidden viewmodel, no fire overlay, no hurt-cam, reduced consumable volume, a Spotify now-playing widget, and a keystrokes display.
Faction: chunk-claim lookups, outpost-capture warnings, rally highlighting, grid-search alerts, and an @mention notification, for servers running faction-war plugins.
✅ Server compatibility
Defaults are tuned for one ruleset: potion PvP, no attack cooldown, 1.21.8 items, full netherite armor, no maces. Every threshold that ruleset depends on — strafe range, trade reach, predictive lookahead — is exposed as a slider, so it can be adjusted for other servers, though default behavior is calibrated to the ruleset above.
All combat-assist modules read only client-visible state: local position and velocity, hurt/sprint flags, and entities already rendered. No additional packets are sent and no input is automated.
