Net Music: Better Login — Fabric 26.1.2 Port

A Fabric port of ming-sc/NetMusic-BetterLogin (originally built for Forge 1.20.1), bringing better login support to the NetMusic (net-music) mod on Minecraft 26.1.2.

What the original mod does

NetMusic-BetterLogin is an add-on for the NetMusic mod, which lets you play NetEase Cloud Music (网易云音乐) inside Minecraft. The base mod's default login is cumbersome, so Better Login replaces it with convenient login methods and unlocks VIP playback for the whole server:

• QR-code login — scan a QR code with the NetEase Cloud Music mobile app and confirm on your phone.
• Email / account login — sign in with your email, phone number, or username + password.
• SMS verification-code login — receive a code on your phone and log in without a password.
• Persisted login — the session cookie is saved to a config file and automatically reapplied on every restart.
• Single sign-on, server-wide VIP — only one person (usually the server owner) needs to log in; the server then holds a VIP credential and every player can play VIP (standard / Hi-Res / Lossless) songs.

What this port changes

This version keeps all of the above features but is rebuilt for the Fabric loader and the new Minecraft 26.1.2 (Java 25) environment:

• Ported from Forge 1.20.1 to Fabric 26.1.2 (Fabric Loader ≥ 0.19.2, Java 25), depending on net-music 1.5.1+ (which now ships a Fabric build by ming-sc).
• Fixed QR-code rendering on Fabric 26.1 — bundled ZXing correctly as a shaded jar, used the new RenderPipelines.GUI_TEXTURED blit, and built the DynamicTexture directly from a NativeImage so the code image actually displays.
• Fixed dedicated-server startup crash — split the mod into ModInitializer (server) and ClientModInitializer (client GUI) entry points, removing a NoClassDefFoundError: Screen that broke dedicated servers.
• Kept the single sign-on VIP sharing via a persisted cookie, with OP commands to reload / clear the cookie and view / set audio quality.

Why use it

If you run a Minecraft server with the NetMusic mod and want your players to enjoy VIP music without everyone juggling accounts, this mod lets one login cover the entire server. It also modernizes the login UI for the current Fabric / MC 26.1.2 generation.

Usage

Run /nmbl login in-game to open the login screen. OP commands: /nmbl server cookie reload|clear, /nmbl server level [set <STANDARD|HIGHER|EXHIGH|LOSSLESS|HIRES>].
