Dye Recipe Expansion

Dye Recipe Expansion expands Minecraft's dye recipes with additional ways to craft all 16 dye colors.

Tired of hunting down specific flowers, cactus, cocoa beans, or other hard-to-find ingredients just to get the dye you need? This pack fills in the gaps in vanilla's dye recipes while adding new combinations beyond the standard recipes. The goal of this pack isn't to completely replace vanilla dye progression, but to give players more options when obtaining dyes. Recipes are designed around actual color combinations and Minecraft's existing dye recipes.

Compatibility

Dye Recipe Expansion should be compatible with other datapacks and resource packs that do not remove or significantly alter vanilla dye recipes.

The pack overwrites two vanilla recipes in the minecraft namespace (lime dye and purple dye) in order to incorporate them into the expanded recipe system. All other recipes added by this pack are contained within its own namespace and do not replace vanilla recipes.

If another datapack also modifies the lime or purple dye recipes, the packs may conflict depending on which pack takes priority.
