A Minecraft Datapack for 1.21.11+ that gives players full control over their death penalties. Choose how punishing death should be — from peaceful keep-inventory to hardcore item drops — all through an intuitive in-game GUI.
Overview
Custom Keep Inventory replaces the all-or-nothing nature of vanilla keepInventory with a flexible, per-player penalty system. Whether you prefer a relaxed experience or a punishing survival challenge, this datapack lets you (or your server admin) decide exactly what happens when you die.
Death Penalty Modes
| Mode | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Vanilla | Death drops nothing (default) |
| Softcore | Drops experience only; inventory is kept |

| Hardcore | Drops experience and all items |
