Brutalist Residential Complex This time I wanted to try something a little different and create a pair of buildings inspired by brutalist architecture. I’ve always loved brutalism for its massive forms, raw concrete, geometric shapes, and the contrast between heavy structures and glass. For this build, I focused on deep balconies, large overhanging volumes, repeating structural elements, and plenty of small details across the facades. The green balconies add a bit of color and life to the otherwise strict concrete design, while the terraces, pathways, railings, and landscaping help make the whole complex feel like a real residential development. I really enjoyed experimenting with this style, and I’d definitely like to explore brutalist architecture in some larger projects in the future. |
