Sky Compression
Minecraft Java mod. File opened and checked on 21 Sep 2026; downloads from the MC Java Mods app on Android.
This mod is an add-on for Sky Resources 2. It provides compressed variants of normal blocks like stone, cactus and dirt.

The only Minecraft version currently supported is 1.12
Currently the compressed blocks are:
- Compressed cobblestone
- Compressed stone
- Compressed netherrack
- Compressed endstone
- Compressed cactus
- Compressed dirt
- Compressed clay
- Compressed gravel
- Compressed sand (normal and red)
- Compressed cactus
- Compressed dry cactus
- Compressed log (all vanilla types)
- Compressed petrified wood
These blocks can only be mined with the new tools:
- Compressed rock grinders (stone / iron/ diamonds variants)
- Compressed water extractor (for extracting water in larger areas and saturating compressed dirt)
- Compressed knives
