Well now you actually can! as mob armor mod adds many new and unique armor sets that will actually transform you into a mob and even give you their abilities!

Become a villager eating zombies, smack everything around like massive Iron golems, shoot giant fireballs or small fireballs and fly like Ghast and Blaze, Explode like Creepers and teleport like Enderman as well!

This mod adds 16 new armor sets , every armor has own unique abilities , attributes and stats as well, some of them are truly overpowered and others are weaker then leather.

Current Armor Sets:

Zombie Armor:

• Gives nightvision.
• Makes you resistant to instant damage and poison.
• Total armor value 20.
• Can be crafted with essence!

Zombie Pigman Armor:

• Gives nightvision and fire resistance.
• Makes you resistant to instant damage and poison.
• Total armor value 27.
• When you reach below 10 health, armor increases your speed by 2x and also increases your damage by 9(you will lose this when your health becomes greater than 10).
• Can be crafted with essence!

Wither Skeleton Armor:

• Gives nightvision, fire resistance and invisibility.
• Makes you resistant to poison, instant damage and wither.
• When you punch someone you will wither them for 10 seconds.
• Total armor value 23.
• Can be crafted with essence!

Spider Armor:

• Gives nightvision.
• Your health is decreased by 4.
• You become immune to poison.
• Allows you to climb walls just by walking into them.
• When you punch someone you will start leaping like spider.
• Total armor value 23.
• Can be crafted with essence!

Creeper Armor:

• No special effects or buffs.
• Holding C for 100 ticks will cause a giant explosion.
• Total armor value 24.
• Can be crafted with essence!

Enderman Armor:

• Gives nightvision and increases your health by 20.
• If you hold shift for 90 ticks you will launch ender pearl towards any place where you aim(might spawn endermite!).
• Any contact with water will make you teleport away.
• Total armor value 29.
• Can be crafted with essence!

Blaze Armor:

• Gives nightvision, fire resistance and jump boost 3.
• Allows you to glide down by holding shift.
• Holding space button will make you fly up.
• Press C while you are in the air to shoot blaze fireballs.
• You will not take any fall damage.
• Water will cause damage to you.
• Total armor value 45.
• Can be crafted with essence!

Ghast Armor:

• Gives fire resistance.
• Your health decreased by 10.
• Allows you to fly up by holding space.
• You will not take any fall damage.
• While holding C you will shoot giant fireballs every 50 ticks(Explosion size is same as creeper explosion!).
• Total armor value 42.
• Can be crafted with essence!

Phantom Armor:

• Gives night vision.
• Allows you to fly up by holding space.
• You will not take any fall damage.
• Total armor value 20.
• Not craftable yet!

Snow Golem Armor:

• You will leave snow trail on the ground.
• Hot tempeture or even water will kill you.
• Total armor value 12.
• Can be crafted with essence!

Iron Golem Armor:

• Gives water breathing and increases your health by 80.
• By punching someone or tapping mouse twice you will smack enemies high into the air.
• You will not take any fall damage and become knockback resistant.
• This armor will decrease your speed by 70% so use it wisely.
• You will deal 14 damage each hit by only using fist!
• Total armor value 67.
• Can be crafted with essence!

Chameleon:

• No Special Effects.
• While holding shift you become fully invisible.
• Total Armor Value 20.
• Not craftable yet!

Charged Creeper Armor:

• No special effects or buffs.
• Holding C for 200 ticks will cause 5x Size Explosion.
• Total armor value 48.
• Not craftable yet!

Cave Spider Armor:

• Gives nightvision.
• Your health decreased by 8.
• You become immune to poison.
• Your fists will poison everyone who you will hit.
• Allows you to climb walls just by walking into them.
• When you punch someone you will start leaping like spider.
• Total armor value 18.
• Can be crafted with essence!

Wither Armor

• Gives nightvision and makes you resistant to fire.
• You will get +280 bonus health and will not  take any fall damage.
• You become immune to wither, poison, blindness and instant damage.
• Hold space button to fly.
• Hold c button to shoot wither skull from main head.
• Hold x button to shoot wither skills from second and third heads.
• Hold v button to create a explosion and break blocks while on the ground.
• When you punch someone you will wither them.
• Total armor value 100.
• Can be crafted with essence!

Pink Wither Armor

• Gives nightvision and makes you resistant to fire.
• You will get +280 bonus health and will not  take any fall damage.
• You become immune to wither, poison, blindness and instant damage.
• Hold space button to fly.
• Hold c button to shoot love skull from main head(It will heal anything it touch and it will leave flowers around area it will hit).
• Hold x button to shoot love skills from second and third heads(they will heal anything it touch and it will leave flowers around area it will hit).
• When you walk on grass or dirt you will leave flower trails behind you.
• When you punch someone you will give instant health to them.
• Total armor value 100.
• Not craftable yet!

Ender Dragon Armor

• Gives nightvision and makes you resistant to fire.
• You will get +180 bonus health and +9 attack damage also you  will not  take any fall damage.
• You become immune to wither, poison, blindness and instant damage.
• Hold space button to fly.
• Hold c button to shoot dragon fireballs from main head.
• Hold x button to create a massive roar that will damage and knockback mobs around you
• Your health will recover 1.5x times faster then normal.
• Total armor value 100.
• Not craftable yet!

Current armors added:

Spider - Climbing walls, spider health,

Cave Spider - Climbing walls, spider health.

Iron Golem - Iron Golem health and buffness.

Enderman - Enderman health , Teleportation on damage, contact with water and when sneaking.

Blaze - Immunity to fire, Flight when holding shift, Gliding when pressing shift in the air.

Phantom - Auto gliding, Flight when holding shift.

Zombie - Nightvision.

Note: This first release is experimental and is only used for gathering feedback for next upgrade!

For 1.20.x

Phantom Armor - 

• Immunity to fall damage.
• Night vision.
• Hold shift when on ground to levitate.
• Hold shift when in air to slowly fall down.
• Total armor value 26.

• Night vision.
• Immunity to poison.
• Total armor value 25.

Cave Spider Armor - 

• 280 health increase.
• Knockback resistance.
• Immunity to fall damage.
• Immunity to fire.
• Hold shift when on ground to levitate.
• Hold shift when in air to slowly fall down.
• 200% higher regeneration.
• Total armor value 66.

Over time there will be even more armor sets added with all sorts of abilities and some of the might have more than 3 abilities, so be sure to suggest your own ideas down in the comments below!
