Volcanos eruptions and replicas (becareful if you are mining the volanos... )
You can find many minerals in volcanos but it's a litle dangerous in early game :
- Ghasts and Blazes spawn during eruptions and replicas
- lava is near....
A tool exists to prevent from eruptions about 60 blocks around :
You have to build a 3x3x3 heart of magma_blocks, and add on the heart 3 blocs of obsidian. the tool needs to be at the surface of the earth (if the obsidian is the highest block on the coords x;z, its ok.
(see the image at the end of this page to see the tool)
You can test the tool : add a coalblock on the top of the higest obsidian block. if the coal disappears and a bell is singing, the tool is OK.
The totem is singing like a big bell if a volcano is interrupted.
The command /eruption starts an eruption if this is possible (a player is away from a heart of magma...
permission : volcano.eruption (op by default)
The command /forcecontinueeruption force the eruption if it has been stoped by a server crash or other bug.
The operator has to be 16 blocks around the top of the volcano.

the config file :
generationFrequence needs to be >= 1
1 : an eruption instead of all rain events.
2 : about one eruptions every two rain event (value by default)
3 : about 1 eruption / 3 rains events
etc ....
altitudeMax: 0 to 100 (posY is set adding 60 to the altitude, so between 60 and 160)
quantityOres: 0 to 100 (0 = a few 100 = a lot)
distanceProtection: 0 to 256 (distance of the antisismique protection)
(if the tool is in danger, it protects itself from an eruption even if it's configure to 0)
distanceMin / Max : distance of a volcano birth from players
enableWorlds : where volcanos cans erupt
