Meta Chests
Java mod listed for Minecraft 1.16. Downloads from the MC Java Mods app on Android.
⬇ Download on CurseForgeThe author built this one for Minecraft 1.16.1 on Forge. On other versions it may install and then do nothing.
Overview
Simple mod that adds two blocks (for now): normal and large meta chest. It has 45 slots (the larger one 91), a simple crafting recipe (requires logs, a chest and an iron ingot), auto-sorting, and the most important feature: Only items of the same tab are allowed. It also features a search system for items in the inventory, similar to JEI and NEI.
