Moldovan Foods

Moldovan Foods

A Moldovan-themed food mod that brings a taste of Moldova to Minecraft.

Grow It

Plant Mărar (dill) on farmland and watch it grow through 5 stages. Bonemeal it along faster, or let nature take its course — once fully grown, harvest it for Mărar and more seeds to replant. Can't find seeds? Try breaking some short grass — you might get lucky.

Mine It

Deep underground, you'll find Salt Ore and its deepslate cousin. Mine it for Sare (salt), a key ingredient in Moldovan cooking — or use Silk Touch to collect the ore block itself.

Cook It

Combine your harvest into a full spread of authentic dishes and ingredients:

• Kebab
• Borș
• Zacuscă
• Pâine cu Zacuscă
• Castron di Pelimene

...plus the building-block ingredients behind them — dough, yeast, wrapping, bowls, and more. All 11 recipes are ready to craft from the moment you start playing.

Discover It

Every item and block has its own home in a dedicated Moldovan Foods creative tab, and its own advancement to earn as you collect it — track your culinary journey through a full custom advancement tree.

Keep an eye out in the world too — a few of the mod's foods can turn up in village pantries and shipwreck supplies.

Choose Your Language

Fully localized in English, Romanian, French, and German — with authentic Romanian dish names preserved across every translation.
