Vyvern Mine

Summary: Vein mining — hold a key, break one block, break the whole connected vein. Hunger- and durability-limited, tunable live from the Vyvern panel.

Description

Hold the vein-mine key and break a block to break the whole connected vein of matching blocks at once — ores group by tag, logs group together.

How it behaves:

• Uses your held tool and respects claim protection (Vyvern Teams, if installed).
• An emerald outline previews the vein before you commit to breaking it — exact on servers, not a client-side guess.
• Drops land at your feet, and all XP is combined into a single orb instead of scattering many.
• Costs hunger; an empty hunger bar blocks veining entirely.
• A HUD line under the crosshair shows the live block count in your preview colour ("Too hungry to vein mine" / "Limited by tool durability").
• Tool durability caps the vein exactly — a shared budget calculation keeps the server-side break and the client-side preview in perfect agreement.
• Capped and tunable from the Vyvern panel; operators can also change the max-blocks-per-vein setting live, in-game, from the Vein Mine hub tab.

Requires: Vyvern Bridge, NeoForge 1.21.1+, Minecraft 1.21.1 (client + server).
